US ban on laptops on European flights still ‘on the table’

Washington (dpa) – A ban on laptops and other large electronic devices in the cabins of flights from Europe to the United States is still under discussion, the Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday.
Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly told European Union officials that an expansion of a laptop ban currently in place for flights from some Middle Eastern destinations was “still on the table.”
