United Airlines Plane Gushes Out Fuel During Takeoff

Passengers of a United Airlines plane at Newark Liberty International Airport were terrified as the jet almost took off with fuel gushing out from one of its wings, Tuesday night. The incident forced the airline to cancel the overseas flight to Venice, Italy.
Witnesses said the fuel came from the edge of the plane’s left wing, but it wasn’t clear what caused the leak. A passenger on board the plane recorded the spillage, following which the plane was taxied on the tarmac.
