United Airlines incident stirs rage on Chinese social media

Beijing (dpa) – Videos showing a man being dragged off an overbooked United Airlines flight in Chicago has enraged social media users in China, where the treatment of the apparently Asian passenger led many to accuse the US airline of racism.
By Tuesday evening, the topic had gathered 170 million views and more than 100,000 posts on Sina Weibo, a Chinese platform similar to Twitter.
