Qantas to begin non-stop ‘Kangaroo Route’ from Australia to London

Sydney (dpa) – Qantas is starting non-stop flights from Australia to Europe for the first time from 2018, the national flag carrier announced on Thursday. Passengers can book seats on Qantas’ “Kangaroo Route” flight between Perth and London from Thursday, the Australian airline said.
Daily flights with new twin-engined Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, designed specifically for long-haul routes, are set to begin on 24 March 2018. The wide-bodied jet can carry 236 passengers.
