Report: Iran, Boeing sign 3-billion-dollar deal for medium-haul jets

Tehran (dpa) – The Iranian airline Aseman and US aircraft manufacturer Boeing on Saturday signed a deal for 30 medium-haul jets, Aseman Airlines head Hussein Alaei was quoted by the IRNA news agency as saying.
The 3-billion-dollar deal also includes an option to purchase a further 30 of Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft, said Alaei.
The first jet is to be delivered in 2022 while the rest will be delivered by 2024, the companies said.
