Flight diverted to Germany over suspicious conversation

Berlin (dpa) – An EasyJet flight to London’s Stansted airport was diverted to Germany on Saturday after the pilot became aware of a suspicious conversation on board.
A number of passengers on board overheard three men during the flight discussing “terrorist matters” and alerted staff, police and the state prosecutor’s office in Cologne said early Sunday.
The flight from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana landed at Cologne-Bonn airport late Saturday and all 151 passengers exited the Airbus A319 jet using emergency slides, an airport spokesman said.
