Eight injured as Boeing 737, supply truck collide at LAX

Los Angeles (dpa) – Eight people were injured Saturday when a Boeing 737 airplane and an airport supply truck collided at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the airport and the local fire department said.
The incident, which occurred around 2:30 pm (2130 GMT) as the Aeromexico plane was taxiing to its gate after landing, caused the truck to overturn and damaged the plane’s right wing, according to statements from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and the airport.
