Early engine checks on CSeries not to affect Airbaltic carrier’s operations

RIGA, April 13 (LETA) – The request of U.S. aerospace manufacturer Pratt Whitney to perform early inspections of an engine part used on CSeries planes will not affect the operations of Latvia’s airBaltic national airline, LETA was told at the company.

airBaltic has received information from Pratt Whitney on additional checks that will be performed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s inspection plan, the airline informed.
